Goodness
This past week, the kids had a day off from school and the moms were quick to find something to keep them all busy...namely, hang out at our house, drink cocoa and make A LOT of crafts! It was great fun and Ellie was on cloud nine with all her friends (especially the "big kids") at her house.
Grace, Nick, Jackson, Ashton, Kate, Ellie, Ivy, and Owen. Caleb and Kate were playing on the floor and Avery was in the playroom. The kids are enjoying hot cocoa with marshmallows and chocolate mint sticks. I love how happy Ellie is here.
Later, Ellie and Daddy build a fort in the living room...(one of the advantages of Daddy being home during the day! He is Ellie's favorite playmate!)
Meanwhile, Kate keeps herself entertained with whatever is within her reach...
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this face!

7 Months
Today, Kate turns 7 months old. To say I am shocked is an understatement. On one hand, I already can't remember our world without her. On the other, it seems like yesterday I was holding her tiny hand for the first time! Kate is my joy: she is sweet and ALWAYS smiling or laughing. She loves everyone and everything and my heart melts when I see her chubby legs, crazy hair, and big eyes. I love how when I look at her, she looks back at me and then...wait for it, wait for it, HUGE GRIN. Cracks me up every time. She also LOVES to blow raspberries at the exact moment I am putting a spoonful of oatmeal/applesauce/peas to her lips. Needless to say, I am a mess after every feeding.
God, thank you so much for my beautiful daughters. My cup overflows with joy. Dan and I are so blessed with these two little loves...we truly live a rich life.
And while Kate was eating (or playing with) her cereal, Ellie made a written request for what she wanted. The note reads: Ellie (heart) Breakfast...Pop Tart [and] Lucky Charms. It was so cute, I totally gave her both! :)
