Calling on a Higher Power
I can't remember a time Dan and I laughed as hard as we did in this moment. Ellie was trying to go potty and wasn't having much luck. We had been in the bathroom for about 20 minutes and we were all losing patience. Ellie started to sing songs to keep herself entertained so we started video taping but it was this moment that I wanted to share with all of you. Where does she come up with this stuff?
Gotta love her. :)

Happenings
Hello to all. It feels like forever since I last wrote an entry, or at least, wrote anything longer than a few descriptive captions. In truth, there hasn't been much to write about. Our house is still on the market and depending on the day, I am busy schlepping Ellie around to swim lessons, play dates, Little Gym and story time.
Dan, however, seems to keep things interesting. Most recently, he injured himself at a mountain biking competition. I am sure I am going to get the exact details wrong but essentially, he tried a new jump, landed wrong, and now has a massive bone contusion in his right shoulder. He cannot work, drive, pick up Ellie, etc. It sucks but it is sort of entertaining watching him still insist he can play Wii. :)
Ellie is keeping us all entertained as usual. And by all, I mean ALL. She sure has had a lot of visitors lately!
And of course, here are some pictures of Ellie and me. My time with just her and Dan is my favorite of the day. What a little cutie! I love her more and more every day.
Love to All,
Ang

Ellie Being Ellie
Ellie and I were reading Corduroy Goes to the Library. On the second page, Corduroy walks past a book store and a coffee shop with characters engaged in each shop. Ellie interrupted my reading to point out the pictures and say,"Mommy, they like to read and drink tea like Ellie. Yeah, I like books. And tea. And shopping." Seriously. Is this my "Little Me" or what? Actually, it is a bit scary to think I might have that much influence over her. Maybe I should drop her off at Uncle Andre's so she can learn to like skiing and video games?
Today's picture...she dressed herself and yes, her panties are on backwards.

Writer's Block
Our little storyteller. Ellie decided that she wanted to type a story so we let her; Dan was smart enough to grab the camera. My favorite part is when she gets "writer's block." Enjoy!
